Religious Cult.

Is it wrong for an educated adult
To have faith in his religious cult?

To perform with devotion and exult?
And with reverence honour the Occult?

Need he be branded as a mere poult?
In many stages of its growth or moult!

This senseless barbarian insult,
Will surely turn sour and result;

In an unholy widespread tumult,
Have they left sanity in a vault?
