The triangle

THE ETERNAL TRIANGLE.

It is the best known angle,
That fits well in a bangle.

It is as welcome as a spangle,
The only shape-giving-triangle!

Yet one is made to dangle,
Getting caught in a tangle;

Harder is the struggle,
The more is the entangle!

Leading to merciless strangle,
Landing one’s life in a bungle;

Creating a hell of a jangle,
And ending up in a mangle!

It is the same good old triangle!
But it now is a lovers’ triangle!
