Acquaintance

An Acquaintance.

He was her new acquaintance,
He wasn’t sure of his importance;

Nor of his unconditional acceptance,
So he continued to keep a distance!

She recognized his true substance,
She understood his real stance;

It was just a show of reluctance,
Surely it was not his resistance.

They realized that such hesitance
Often led to belated repentance;

Under a very similar circumstance,
Remember this as a good instance;

And guide those who need assistance.
Success will never desert Persistence.
